Ward has served as Windsor County State’s Attorney since January 2020, leading a team of eleven staff, including attorneys, victim advocates, and administrative professionals.
He received his J.D. from Vermont Law School and previously served as Deputy State’s Attorney in both Windsor and Rutland counties.
Community and Public Safety
In the Windsor State’s Attorney’s office, our top priority is public safety.
To support that goal, we focus our efforts on reducing violent crime, particularly domestic and sexual violence.
For lower-level offenses, the office has pioneered alternative approaches that emphasize restorative justice and treatment programs.
